Luware Launches Cloud-Based Recording for Microsoft Teams

Luware Launches Cloud-Based Recording for Microsoft Teams

Zurich, Switzerland and London, UK—18.05.20—Luware has launched Luware Recording, a fully cloud-based compliance and quality management recording solution for Microsoft Teams. Delivered as a managed service through Microsoft Azure, the solution enables organizations to capture, retain, analyze, and retrieve Microsoft Teams communications without deploying dedicated recording infrastructure. The solution is already being used by customers across the financial services, travel, and e-commerce sectors.

Built for regulated communications

As organizations increasingly adopt Microsoft Teams for internal and external communications, regulated industries must ensure that communications remain accessible for compliance, supervision, and recordkeeping purposes.

Commenting on the launch, Alexander Grafetsberger, Chief Business Officer for Recording at Luware, said, "As more employees work remotely, companies in regulated industries such as financial services especially need to ensure business continuity while adhering to compliance regulations. With a fully integrated recording solution for Microsoft Teams, every company can benefit from easy communication and collaboration with colleagues and customers alike, and still maintain full compliance."

Delivering comprehensive Teams recording

The launch builds on Luware's collaboration with Verint, whose compliance technology supports the capture of Microsoft Teams communications. Together, the companies provide organizations with the ability to record and manage communications across Teams calling and meeting scenarios, including voice, chat, video conferencing, and screen sharing.

Luware Recording is delivered through the Microsoft Azure cloud and operated as a managed service by Luware. The cloud-based deployment model eliminates the need for dedicated recording infrastructure while providing organizations with a scalable approach to communications recording. Recording data is stored in customer-controlled storage environments, while the platform applies industry-standard encryption and supports customer-specific security configurations.

Early customer adoption

The solution has already been deployed across multiple industries, including financial services. Andrew Parker, Head of Technology at Capital Home Loans (CHL), said, “As a highly regulated financial services provider, Verint and their global partner Luware were a clear choice for CHL; delivering a MiFID II and PCI compliant call recording solution whilst offering the flexibility of cloud-based delivery alongside a tight integration with Microsoft Teams. This helped CHL deliver on key strategic initiatives; reducing business risk and increasing business agility.”
