For our top modern, newly designed office in London- City, we are looking for as soon as possible, for an ambitious person to actively support our Security Analyst team with a lot of positive energy and engagement.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities to the company’s products and services and implement controls to mitigate risks
  • Define and tune platform capabilities, monitor, investigate and evaluate security incidents, logs, and alerts
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analysis into security incidents
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, refining incident response processes, evaluating compliance with company policy, and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Participate in security assessments and audits (SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001) and work with external partners to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Ensure SOC 2 task completion in agreement with the Senior Security Architect
  • Review penetration testing reports, new software patches and vulnerability scan reports (internal or from suppliers), to develop and implement remediation plans and work with operational support teams to mitigate based on residual risk and severity of issue addressed
  • Continuously review and evolve security processes for Luware’s hosted SaaS platforms
  • Work with analysts, architects and technology leads to review platform updates (and changes) prior to deployment to ensure there is no adverse impact to the security posture
  • Provide technical leadership to other departments with respect to the operational security of Luware’s hosted SaaS platforms
  • Take an active role in internal security forums to provide technical advice and expertise on all aspects of compliance, security and regulatory requirements regarding Luware’s hosted SaaS platforms
  • Communicate in plain language to business stakeholders suggesting security improvements.
  • Where required, work with our customers to specify and design technical controls to meet their requirements
  • Contribute innovative ideas for the continual improvement of services.
  • Proactive approach to maintaining and extending the platform security documentation
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging security technologies and best practices

Your skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in an Information and Cyber security analyst role with exposure to cloud and windows operating systems
  • Qualifications in the field of Computer Science, and IT, or equivalent industry experience or recognised certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, including knowledge of industry best-practice and guidelines such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001 and SOC 2
  • Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams Certifications are a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff and colleagues across different levels of seniority
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to manage difficult situations and be assertive
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to lead and set the standards for technical documentation
  • Ability to coach and support team members in their technical development
  • Remain up to date with the latest cyber threats and how they may affect our organisation
  • Good knowledge of associated technologies, such as Windows Server, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL etc.
  • Experience using MS Sentinel/ Windows and Linux support experience
