The Board of Directors has appointed Serge Gansner as the new CEO of Luware, effective immediately. He has been leading the company on an interim basis since February 2024.
The appointment follows a careful selection process that considered both internal and external candidates following Philipp Beck's decision to step down from the operational side of the business. Serge Gansner impressed with his extensive IT expertise and strong management experience.
Over the course of his 30-year career, Serge Gansner has held various management positions in the IT sector and made a name for himself as a successful IT entrepreneur. In recent years, he has established himself as a business coach and has mentored a wide range of executives and provided strategic advice to members of management and boards of directors.
Karel Strub, Chairman of the Board, is delighted with the new appointment: “With Serge Gansner, we have gained an outstanding and innovative leader.
The Board is convinced that, with his experience, he is the best person to lead the company into the next phase of growth. He has already set the course with initial organizational adjustments so that customers and partners can benefit from faster product development.”
With his new position, Serge Gansners’ career has come full circle.
He comments: “As CEO of Luware, I am able to combine my experience as a founder, management coach and industry insider. Together with my motivated executive colleagues and passionate Luwarians I look forward to develop the company in the years ahead.”
