Luware originates from a bachelor thesis at the University of Applied Sciences of Rapperswil, Switzerland. The work provided an integration of Microsoft Unified Communications into a Cisco Contact Center. Even though the proof of concept was successful, Cisco was not interested to market the solution. This led Philipp and Michael to start their own company – Luware. Six months later, the first customer was already onboarded. Today, Luware is operating internationally with a strong focus on banks and insurance companies. The customer-base includes well-known companies from all industries.
