We would like to introduce Mehmet, System Engineer in our UK Office.
In the beginning was the word – in our case app. 30 words to describe your role within Luware.
I am a system engineer with 18 years of experience in the Microsoft Stack, for the last 5 to 6 years I have been purely focused on Lync/SfB and surrounding technologies. I design, support and implement our Contact Centre Products and 3rd party Conversation Recording systems for our customers.
To get a more precise idea about how you are contributing to the success of the company every day… what does a “normal” working day look like?
The days kicks off with a team meeting (SCRUM) and provides a great perspective of what the previous day entailed and today entails for me and the rest of the team. The working day will encompass project related work, customer and internal support work, also at times a requirement for testing issues, features, scripts etc… is required, which is where the “Luware Labs” comes in very handy! Each working day has a good balance between deep technical exercises, internal/customer facing meetings, and documentation. Luware is a fantastic place to work and makes friends, you will never look back!
Talking about facts and figures… An interesting fact about you that your colleagues don´t know.
Before I started my career with Microsoft Products in 2000 I was studying to be an interior designer (but always had passion for compute technologies since my first computer my Parents purchased for me… A Spectrum ZX 128! 🙂 )
Laughter is the best medicine…What makes you laugh?
An old U.K Sitcom called “Only fools and horses” – absolute classic and still makes me laugh today!
In the sense of one of Einstein´s famous quotes “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious”… What are you curious or passionate about?
Finding solutions to problems!, reading about emerging new technologies like AI, ML and Quantum computing (its the future!) Knowledge sharing is another passion and this is a an overall passion of Luware in general 🙂
And…to go on with Einstein who asked himself “A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?”…What´s the craziest thing you have experienced at Luware?
FM Party in the year 2016!! That was really really really cool and fun!
