Philipp Beck, CEO of the Luware Group: “A very special moment, a milestone in our history. As a Swiss company that emerged as a spin-off from Rapperswil University less than 10 years ago, we are proud to announce the Swiss Federal Government as a customer today. We are pleased to be able to use our products to optimize the communication of the Federal Government and simplify communication with its citizens in times of bots and artificial intelligence.”
In the project Contact Center UCC the Federal Government wants to replace the existing Contact Center and Switchboard solution with modern applications of Luware, in order to extend the functionality of their current communication platform Microsoft Skype for Business, which is installed at the federal administration and its connected enterprises.
The Luware solution will support communication methods such as web chat, telephony, video, Skype, social media channels and bots, contribute to simplifying internal and external communication and improve the services towards citizens. Luware will be responsible for the introduction of the system, the training of employees and will actively support the federal offices with the system operation and maintenance. This is a substantial project with revenues of double-digit millions.
The Luware Group, with its headquarter in Zurich, is a privately financed software business with more than 80 employees and offices in Switzerland, Germany and the UK. Luware maintains a close partnership with Microsoft Switzerland and the developers at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond (USA).
